Biophilia helps connect homeowners to nature, this can include a broad range of things like indoor plants, fountains,& gardens. It includes calming tones of tans, greens, whites, & good natural sunlight. Of course, the use of plants plays a major part!

Designer; Jagrit Vij (MOSS), CBRE Netherlands — CBRE The Core
While researching online about how a designer used biophilia in a space, I found this article. Shown above in the image is how the designer brought in plants & a garden to help bring this office space together. The mention of covid and how covid has brought us to be more comfortable at home, but the office wanted their workers to feel like this office was a home away from home. The designer wanted to focus on the importance of utilizing plants in the office space so the workers would feel less stressed, calmer, and stimulated by physical senses. Studies have shown that there was an increase of 40% in the well-being of coworkers. Also, heavily biophilic workspaces also have increased by about 15% in productivity. Living & working within a biophilic area can enhance feelings & productivity & creativity by also helping the environment.
