The difference between good & bad design is crazy to think about. Good design should include, function as well as being aesthetically pleasing, & impacting the environment. On the other hand, bad design has terrible function & does not show any beauty. Although everybody has different tastes in design, a space must have a good foundation.
Good Design
The images I chose are actually the kitchen at my house in West Point. I chose this for the good design because of how its arranged, the kitchen is a 16'-16' space with a gorgeous pantry. I consider this to be a good design because of the open space on all areas around the kitchen island. There is plenty of room to get to the sink, fridge, oven, and stovetop. The design is also aesthetically pleasing as well, with the cream cabinetry & the wood floors with the wood ceilings.
Bad Design
The images I chose are from the guest bathroom that we have in my house. The bedroom is very tiny with an added on bathroom, the bathroom functions but, it isn't pleasing or easy to maneuver around. There's multiple issues in the bathroom, for example, there is absolutely zero space to wash your hands without feeling like you're going to fall into the tub. When the door is open I get anxiety but its worse when the door is closed because it feels even more claustrophobic.
